WE’RE BACK!! Thanks to so many people who have written us over the years, we’ve finally come out with a new podcast. A huge thank you to all of you who took the time to write an email or leave a comment on our website. I hope you all find the new lesson useful as well.

More lessons to come!!

We start the lesson with a review of the previous lesson, then have a new dialogue with Yuki, a Hungarian-speaking girl from Japan who visits Hungary for the first time, and her friend Attila.

Dialogue for Lesson 11 (informal speech):

Yuki: Végre itt vagyok Magyarországon!

Attila: Üdvözöllek Budapesten, Yuki! Hogy tetszik?

Yuki: Szerintem minden olyan szép!

Attila: Igen?

Yuki: Minden olyan gyönyörű!

Attila: Yuki…

Yuki: Minden csodálatos!

Attila: De Yuki, ez csak a repülőtér!

The Hungarian language has fascinated me since I was a youngster. I am now 68 yrs old. Your podcasts are helping me to learn Hungarian in a friendly atmosphere. Keep up the good work.

    Köszönem szépen

Köszönjük Rev. Grennon! They say that language learning gets more challenging as one gets older, so you’re a model for the rest of us 🙂 Also, I’ve read that learning languages is also an excellent way to keep your brain healthy and strong, so don’t stop doing it! Is there anything in particular you’d like to learn in our lessons?

I can’t tell you how happy I am you’re both back! I’ve recently begun to learn to speak Hungarian using the Pimsleur lessons and your podcasts, so I was dismayed to see there were only a few recorded. Your podcasts have been so helpful and you both are so friendly and encouraging! And, the dialogues are clever and engaging.

Thank you so much for what you’re doing and please keep it up. You both have a real knack for teaching languages.

    All best,

    Adrianne

Hi Andranne, thanks so much for the kind words! It’s exactly comments like yours that inspire us to keep this podcast and website going. We really appreciate it!

    Sok sikert a magyar nyelvvel!
